On November 27 KST, the late actress Kim Sae Ron's mother relayed a second statement via her representative law firm, addressing Kim Soo Hyun's lawyer and fans.
Kim Sae Ron's mother began, "After much deliberation, I released a statement on November 26 KST. However, what I received in return was lawyer Go Sang Rok's mockery, sarcasm, and insults targeting Sae Ron and the family."
She continued, "Through his SNS, Go Sang Rok mocked Sae Ron, calling her 'a crazy person suffering bipolar disorder', 'a mentally unstable person obsessed with men', and 'an underaged minor obsessed with men'. Referring to the family, he said, 'You're doing such a wonderful job of protecting the honor of the deceased' or 'people who threw the honor of the deceased to the dogs', employing sarcasm or just openly ridiculing. Thus, as of today, we have filed complaints with the Korean Bar Association and with the Seoul District Association of Lawyers, demanding disciplinary action."
Additionally, Kim Sae Ron's mother added on, "Even after the statement issued yesterday, fans of Kim Soo Hyun have yet to cease inflicting secondary harm on the deceased nor her loved ones. They are in fact leaving malicious comments telling us to 'hurry and go get questioned by the police', 'turn the phone in'."
She strongly impelled, "In fact, we completed any required police questioning by July and cooperated with the investigation by submitting Sae Ron's phone as well as all other electronic devices. Meanwhile, it is our understanding that Kim Soo Hyun has yet to attend a questioning for a lawsuit we filed in May for violating South Korea's Child Welfare Act", and "Lastly, we earnestly ask that Kim Soo Hyun's fans stop inflicting secondary harm on all those involved, cease spreading false information, and wait patiently for the investigation results."
Earlier on November 26 KST, the late Kim Sae Ron's mother came forward with her first press statement, through which she presented alleged evidence to prove that Kim Soo Hyun dated Kim Sae Ron while she was still a minor.
