Singer Sung Si Kyung was left momentarily speechless after a restaurant staff member made an unexpected remark during his recent YouTube video.
On November 10, a new episode titled 'Sung Si Kyung’s Food | Apgujeong Rodeo Baetgodon' was uploaded to the singer’s official YouTube channel. In the video, Sung visited a popular restaurant in Apgujeong Rodeo with his new video editor and other staff members.
The group ordered three servings of squid bulgogi, but the restaurant employee brought out four, explaining, “I made a little extra for you.”
Surprised, Sung Si Kyung insisted on paying for the extra portion, saying, “I’ll pay for it. Otherwise, it’ll count as advertising. If it’s going to be an ad, you’ll have to pay me a lot. So I’ll just pay for the four servings.”
He added with a laugh, “I was shocked by how much food we got.” Later, the staff member asked if their face would appear in the video. Sung Si Kyung jokingly replied, “Oh, do you have something like a criminal record?” To everyone’s surprise, the employee playfully answered, “Yes, I do.”

Momentarily taken aback, Sung smiled awkwardly and said, “Ah, then I’d better be careful,”which drew laughter from both the crew and viewers alike.
The lighthearted exchange quickly became a highlight of the video, showing Sung Si Kyung’s signature wit and his genuine reactions to the unexpected humor of everyday encounters.
