Sung Si Kyung has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has shown support for him.
Recently, the singer received an outpouring of encouragement from fans after it was revealed that he had suffered financial losses due to his former manager, identified as 'A.' 'A' was accused of embezzling billions of won by diverting VIP concert tickets under the pretense of cracking down on scalpers, funneling the profits into a bank account under his wife’s name.
On November 9, Sung Si Kyung wrote on social media, "I've received a lot of hate comments before, but I've never received this many messages of comfort and encouragement in my entire life."
He added, "Not only fellow singers but also people in the broadcasting industry—almost everyone I’ve ever crossed paths with, even once—sent me kind messages telling me to stay strong."
Sung Si Kyung shared that those who reached out to him also opened up about their own painful experiences, offering words of empathy and solidarity.
Reflecting on his situation, he wrote, "When I was younger, I didn’t quite understand the saying ‘saeongjima’ from the idiom books, but now I feel that being an adult means not being swayed by every joy or sorrow, and learning to face everything calmly, wisely, and—though it’s not easy—with gratitude."
He went on to say that this period has given him time to reflect deeply on his life, on who he is as a person, and on his career as a singer.
Sung Si Kyung also shared his determination to move forward with his year-end concert, promising to continue performing despite the current challenges.
"For the fans who have supported and waited for me, and above all for myself, I’ll set aside my hardships for next year. For now, I’ll take care of my body and mind, and prepare a fun and heartwarming end to the year that truly feels like me. Please cheer me on," he wrote.
Earlier that afternoon, Sung Si Kyung performed on the second day of the '2025 Incheon Airport Sky Festival' held at Inspire Resort in Incheon. Despite enduring great emotional pain following his former manager’s betrayal, he reportedly decided to honor his commitment and take the stage for his fans.

"I've received a lot of hate comments before, wondering if so many people could dislike me, but I think this is the first time in my life I've received so many messages of comfort and encouragement. I realized I must not have lived such a bad life after all, and I was genuinely comforted and helped. Thank you.
Not only senior and junior singers but also many broadcasting professionals I haven’t kept in close contact with, and nearly everyone I’ve ever met even once, have sent me warm messages to cheer me up. Each of them shared their own painful experiences with me.
When I was young, I didn’t really understand the saying ‘saeongjima’ from those idiom books, but now I feel that being an adult means not getting carried away by every joy or despair, and learning to accept everything calmly, wisely, and—though difficult—with gratitude.
This has become a time for me to reflect deeply on the flow of my life, on who I am, and on my profession as a singer. I will take on the challenge of holding a year-end concert.
For the fans who have supported and waited for me, and above all for myself, I’ll postpone my hardships to next year, take care of my body and mind for the rest of this year, and prepare a fun and warm end to the year that feels true to me.
