RESCENE has actively clarified the recent controversy surrounding a live broadcast.
The girl group recently held a showcase on the afternoon of November 25 at Myeonghwa Live Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their third mini-album, 'Lip Bomb.'
The mini-album includes five tracks: double title songs "Heart Drop" and "Bloom," along with "Love Echo," "Hello XO," and "MVP."
May explained, "'Bloom' conveys the hope that anyone can be the main character in their own life," while Zena added that "'Heart Drop' contains a sweet whisper that seeps into you before you even realize it," describing the title track.

Minami highlighted RESCENE’s signature concept of “scent,” noting, “When you receive a fragrance, it can bring back memories of music you heard or the era and generation it reminds you of. In that sense, music and scent share a commonality.”
The members also addressed sensitive questions with honesty. In a September live broadcast, a loud argument between a man and a woman was heard from the adjacent room, followed by a woman’s scream.
At the time, May responded nonchalantly, saying, “RESCENE is in the room… maybe they’re just playing,” which sparked rumors that the group was being abused by their agency.

May later clarified on a fan platform: “It seems that stories are being greatly distorted. We have an equal relationship with the company, and the CEO, directors, and staff care for RESCENE more than anyone. We trust them and work together with them.” She also explained, “The sounds in the video came from outside the building. The alleyway noises are usually loud, so we initially thought it was the members. It was such a ridiculous misunderstanding that we posted to clarify.”
The agency also denied the abuse allegations and warned of potential legal action against excessive speculation.
Woni addressed the issue again, saying, “Many were curious, but it was something we laughed off. We didn’t expect it to become an issue. We thought our explanation would be taken as nothing, but it spread widely. You don’t need to worry.”
May added, “Not only the managers beside us but all staff members have been with us for a long time. We always joke, laugh, and have fun together,” emphasizing their close bond with the agency.
Meanwhile, RESCENE’s third mini-album 'Lip Bomb' was released at 6 PM on the same day across various music platforms.
