Singer MC Mong has sparked controversy after sharing a photo of his home interior on social media.
Recently, MC Mong posted several photos of his house on his social media account, accompanied by the background song “Home Sweet Hong.”
At first glance, the images appeared to simply showcase his interior design — until netizens noticed a portrait of Adolf Hitler hanging on the wall beside his staircase. The framed artwork prominently featured Hitler’s face, occupying a significant portion of the wall, shocking viewers who quickly circulated the image online.
The post ignited a wave of criticism on online communities and social media, with many accusing MC Mong of showing “a complete lack of historical awareness and sensitivity.”
The incident drew even more attention given the singer’s controversial history. MC Mong previously faced backlash for making homophobic remarks in 2004, and was later involved in a military draft evasion scandal in 2010, which led to widespread public condemnation. Despite his attempts to return to the entertainment industry, his name has repeatedly resurfaced in connection to various controversies — including allegations involving his agency and a boy group member’s expulsion over prostitution charges earlier this year.
As his social media activity has often reignited debate, netizens have noted that MC Mong continues to draw scrutiny for behavior deemed insensitive or inappropriate.
MC Mong and his representatives have not yet released an official statement regarding the recent post.
Back in July, the singer revealed that he had been struggling with “severe depression and deteriorating health,” saying, “There’s no need to focus on rumors — I’ve decided to study abroad for the sake of my health and personal growth.”
MC Mong had previously hinted at plans to release a new album this year, and the public remains focused on how this latest controversy may impact his next steps.
