Fans are growing increasingly alarmed over the well-being of the boy group Fantasy Boys after all members reportedly shared the same message on a fan communication platform, just days after reports surfaced that the group’s dormitory electricity had been cut off.
On November 6, member Kang Minseo revealed through the app Bubble, “The electricity at the dorm isn’t working, so I’m charging my phone and getting in touch now… sorry.” He added, “It’s not a blackout, but it seems like the electricity bill hasn’t been paid, which is a bit stressful.”
Shortly afterward, the members collectively posted an identical message, saying, “I’m sorry, but it seems I won’t be able to contact you this weekend... I’ll do my best to update you as soon as possible. Thank you, and I’m sorry.” Fans quickly noticed that nearly all members had uploaded the exact same text, prompting suspicions that the posts were not written by the idols themselves.
This development has reignited fans’ ongoing concerns for the group’s safety. Earlier, a member was seen making the internationally recognized hand signal for distress—tucking the thumb into the palm before folding the fingers over it—during a livestream, which is widely used as a silent plea for help.
Following these incidents, worried fans have flooded online communities with messages urging an investigation and expressing deep concern for the members’ welfare. Many are calling for the group’s management to clarify the situation and ensure the members are safe.
