Kang Minseo, a member of the boy group Fantasy Boys, recently revealed that the electricity at the group’s dormitory had been cut off, sparking concern among fans.
Through the fan communication platform Bubble, Kang Minseo shared, “The electricity at the dorm isn’t working, so I’m charging my phone and getting in touch now… sorry.” He added, “It’s not a blackout, but it seems like the electricity bill hasn’t been paid, which is a bit stressful…”
The post quickly drew reactions from fans, with some expressing disbelief that such an issue could occur, saying, “It’s hard to believe the electricity bill hasn’t been paid at an idol dorm,” and “Is the agency not managing things properly?” Some fans raised broader concerns about the members’ living conditions and the management system of the agency, hoping, “This is not just a simple mishap.”
Fantasy Boys is a 10-member boy group formed through MBC’s audition program 'Fantasy Boys | My Teenage Boy 2' and debuted last September. Recently, some members had shared messages with fans indicating they were feeling stressed or not in the best condition, further fueling fan worries.
Fans are now calling for a swift resolution, stating, “If this is just an electricity bill issue, it needs to be addressed quickly,” and urging improvements in the group’s welfare and management practices.
