A new boy group is stepping into K-pop’s dark fantasy realm — meet AM8IC, the first boy group launched by TOV Entertainment.
Composed entirely of Chinese members, AM8IC held their debut showcase on November 10, officially entering the scene with their first EP ‘LUKOIE.’ The album draws inspiration from Lukoië, a mythical dream god symbolized by a spider, and tells the story of five members who awaken in a false dream world and begin their journey toward reality.

In K-pop, dark fantasy has become one of the genre’s most intriguing storytelling styles, combining emotional depth, myth, and cinematic visuals. While groups like ENHYPEN, &TEAM, and P1Harmony have already established themselves with vampire, wolf, and dystopian universes respectively, AM8IC aims to carve out its own path with a fresh take on the concept.
According to TOV Entertainment CEO Yoon Beom No, “K-pop’s greatest charm has always been its original world-building. Even with an all-Chinese lineup, we were confident we could create a group with a unique and captivating universe.”
AM8IC performed their title track “Link Up” for the first time at the showcase. The song features bossa nova guitar riffs and UK garage influences, blending dreamy and emotional sounds in an approachable way for all listeners.
Their debut EP ‘LUKOIE’ consists of six interconnected tracks, each tying into AM8IC’s evolving dark fantasy world, signaling the arrival of a new contender ready to expand the boundaries of K-pop storytelling.
