2NE1’s Park Bom’s agency shared an update on the singer’s current health condition following concern from fans over her recent social media activity.
On October 24, D-NATION Entertainment released an official statement addressing the matter. “First, we sincerely apologize for causing concern due to Park Bom’s recent personal social media post,” the agency stated. “We also deeply thank everyone who has sent their warm words of support.”
The company went on to explain that Park Bom is currently in an emotionally unstable state and is having difficulty communicating, adding that she is in urgent need of treatment and rest to recover.
D-NATION also expressed concern about how Park Bom’s post has been widely circulated and misinterpreted online. “As her social media post has spread through various channels, it has been misinterpreted in ways that differ from the facts, leading to unnecessary misunderstandings. This situation has caused harm not only to Park Bom herself but also to her family and acquaintances,” the statement continued.
The agency requested that fans and media outlets refrain from sharing or reporting on the post further to prevent additional misunderstandings. “Our company will do our utmost to help the artist recover her health as soon as possible and return in a better state. We kindly ask for fans’ understanding and continued warm support,” D-NATION concluded.
Park Bom debuted as a member of 2NE1 in 2009 under YG Entertainment and has since pursued solo activities under D-NATION Entertainment.
