ONF has unveiled the tracklist for their upcoming mini album.
The WM Entertainment boy group is returning with their 9th mini album titled 'Unbroken,' marking their third comeback of the year. This follows their 2nd full album Part. 1 'ONF: My Identity,' released in February, and their special single "Summer Light" in August.
This surprise mini album includes five tracks in total, with "Put It Back" serving as the title song.
Meanwhile, fans have noticed that acclaimed producer Hwang Hyun — known for his long-standing collaborations with ONF and other WM artists as part of the producing team MonoTree — is absent from the producer lineup for this release.
Some speculate that this change may be due to MonoTree being absorbed into SM Entertainment in January 2024, while WM Entertainment has been under RBW Entertainment since 2021. Although Hwang Hyun continued to work closely with ONF despite these corporate changes, some fans believe that the growing influence of RBW and SM over their respective companies may have made it difficult for the producer and group to maintain their long-term collaboration.
At the same time, others have expressed disappointment that ONF has yet to release Part. 2 of their full-length album, as the title of Part. 1 had previously suggested. In response to these concerns, the members of ONF reached out to fans through their communication app, asking for continued trust and understanding as they navigate these unexpected yet potentially temporary changes.
