Urban Zakapa's Jo Hyun Ah has opened up about her past relationship on 'My Little Old Boy.'
On SBS’s variety show, which aired on October 26, Jo Hyun Ah revealed that she once paid taxes on behalf of her ex-boyfriend.
The episode featured well-known celebrity drinkers Jo Hyun Ah, Song Haena, and Hanhae embarking on a “hangover food tour without alcohol.”
During the broadcast, Jo Hyun Ah surprised everyone by confessing, “My worst relationship was when I even paid my boyfriend’s taxes for him.”
She explained further, “I can’t say how much it was, but I paid his taxes. You know how taxes can be quite a lot sometimes. There are times when you even have to borrow money to cover them. I was worried my ex might go somewhere else to borrow money, so I said, ‘I’ll lend it to you.’”
Hanhae responded, “You’re so generous,” to which Jo Hyun Ah admitted, “I took care of his basic needs — what he rode, what he wore, where he slept — everything.”
Song Haena then asked, “Do you do that for everyone you date?” and Jo Hyun Ah replied, “Not for everyone.”
At that moment, Hanhae asked, “How do you feel about younger guys?” Jo Hyun Ah smiled and said, “I like them,” before adding with a laugh, “Wait, are you asking that for yourself?”
In related news, Jo Hyun Ah previously faced criticism in January 2024 after remarks she made on an episode of 'I Am Solo,' where she said she "prefers sons over daughters" and that "men are like the heavens," referring to herself as someone "who still lives in the Joseon period."
In light of that controversy, netizens on community forums have also reacted to her latest appearance, with some commenting that they are "not surprised" and continuing to criticize her for her past remarks. Meanwhile, others came to her defense, saying that it is "wrong to ridicule someone else’s choices or possible regrets."
