SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama, 'Dynamite Kiss,' set to premiere on Wednesday, November 12 at 9 PM, has officially kicked off.
The drama tells a heart-fluttering romance between a single woman who goes undercover as a mother for work and the team leader who falls in love with her. With Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin confirmed as the main leads, the series is expected to reignite the SBS weekday romance drama phenomenon.
On October 2, the script reading took place with director Kim Jae Hyun and writers Ha Yoon Ah and Tae Kyung Min, along with the production team, in attendance.
The main cast included Jang Ki Yong (as Gong Ji Hyuk), Ahn Eun Jin (as Go Da Rim), Kim Moo Jun (as Kim Sun Woo), and Woo Da Bi (as Yoo Ha Young). The lively and lovely story captured hearts, and the actors’ passionate performances created a warm, energetic atmosphere at the reading.

Jang Ki Yong left a strong impression as Gong Ji Hyuk, a character who doesn’t believe in love but is troubled by Go Da Rim, who disappeared after leaving only a “catastrophe-level” kiss. Jang Ki Yong perfectly portrayed Gong Ji Hyuk’s irresistible charm, seamlessly switching between cold and warm personality traits. His captivating visuals, deep voice, and intense gaze matched the character flawlessly, adding to the romantic tension.
Ahn Eun Jin also proved her acting presence. She plays Go Da Rim, a single woman who takes on a fake married-mother identity to make a living. Despite the struggles of job-seeking life, she does not hesitate in the face of love that comes like a natural disaster, and Ahn Eun Jin’s lively performance perfectly captured Go Da Rim’s charm.
Above all, the chemistry between Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin, who will portray a dopamine-filled romance, was remarkable.
The two actors, fully immersed in their characters, exchanged lines and conveyed the intense gaze of two people falling in love instantly. Their visuals and acting sparkled together so naturally that it was hard to believe it was their first collaboration.
Kim Moo Jun and Woo Da Bi also drew attention.

Kim Moo Jun plays Kim Sun Woo, Go Da Rim’s close friend and a single dad, showing a ‘perfect male friend’ charm with his seemingly indifferent yet caring demeanor, promising another layer of romantic appeal.
Woo Da Bi breaks the typical chaebol female character mold, showing a special presence. With her freshness and passion, she is expected to energize the drama’s romance line.
Additionally, actors Nam Ki Ae, Cha Mi Kyung, Choi Kwang Il, Seo Sang Won, Seo Jung Yeon, Park Jin Woo, Park Ji Ah, Jung Soo Young, Jung Ga Hee, Park Jung Yeon, and Shin Joo Hyup will deliver solid performances, enriching the character ensemble.
Child actor Chae Ja Woon’s adorable charm also brought constant laughter to the set.
The production team stated, “This script reading confirmed the actors’ chemistry and synergy. Each actor showed their unique charm and presence in the right moments, heating up the atmosphere on set.” They added, “'Dynamite Kiss' is a romantic comedy that viewers can enjoy comfortably and happily. We hope to bring a fun and uplifting energy to our audience, so please look forward to it.”
