BTS’s Jungkook made a rare public appearance on October 27 KST at the VIP premiere of the film 'First Ride', held at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Songpa, Seoul.
Jungkook arrived in a chic all-black outfit, pairing a black jacket with wide-leg pants. His signature charisma, paired with a playful smile, brightened up the red carpet atmosphere. With bold silver accessories—including a statement necklace and ring-style piercing—he showcased a stylish look befitting a top-tier musician.
The singer attended the event to support his close friend, Cha Eun Woo, who plays the lead role in the film. Jungkook shared,
“I was curious to see how my friend acted. He said the movie was filmed while reminiscing about our youth in our 20s.”
He added a heartfelt message,
“Take care of your health, finish your military service strong, and complete your discharge successfully.”
In a particularly charming moment, Jungkook posed with a plush doll printed with Cha Eun Woo’s character from the film, striking playful poses on the photo wall and adding a lighthearted touch to the event. Fans responded enthusiastically with comments like:
“Their friendship is so heartwarming,”
“Jungkook’s support and sense of humor are truly touching.”
Meanwhile, international media outlets have reported that BTS is preparing a new album and a large-scale world tour of approximately 65 shows once all members complete their mandatory military service.
However, their agency BIGHIT MUSIC clarified:
“Nothing has been confirmed yet regarding the schedule or scale of a new world tour.”
