Girl group BABYMONSTER is sustaining their explosive rise on YouTube with the music video for "WE GO UP" and is now gearing up to accelerate their popularity with a high-quality performance video.
According to YG Entertainment on October 13, the music video for BABYMONSTER’s second mini album title track "WE GO UP" surpassed 30 million views on YouTube at around 6 a.m. that day. While it initially took a day to reach 10 million views, the pace has since quickened — 20 million in 22 hours and 30 million in just 19 hours — showing accelerating global interest.

To build on the momentum, YG will release the "WE GO UP" EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO at midnight on October 14. With the music video’s view count maintaining a steep upward curve, the upcoming video is expected to act as a trigger for another surge in popularity.
Earlier, executive producer Yang Hyun Suk hinted at a performance video of the same scale and quality as a music video when announcing the group’s comeback. In line with that promise, YG began pre-production early to maximize quality, collaborating with a mega dance crew to create a large-scale, cinematic performance. The company also secured a location and carried out several days of filming with the choreography team.
The newly released D-1 poster for the ‘WE GO UP’ EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO has further amplified anticipation among music fans. Set on a vast runway shrouded in night, the powerful beams of light hint at BABYMONSTER’s grand and intense performance soon to be revealed.
YG stated, “Since the choreography wasn’t shown in the music video, we expected fans might feel a bit of disappointment, so we put extra effort into this performance video. We hope it serves as the official signal for BABYMONSTER’s full-scale comeback promotions.”
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER made their comeback on October 10 with their second mini album "WE GO UP". The title track delivers a confident message about aiming higher, combining the members’ fierce rap verses, thrilling high notes, and addictive melody — earning an enthusiastic response from listeners.
