Kian84 is pushing himself to the limit. He will embark on an intense marathon journey through MBC’s new variety show ‘Extreme84’(tentative title), set to premiere in November.
Ahead of the show’s first broadcast, the production team released a poster on October 13 that immediately takes viewers’ breath away.
The poster captures Kian84 pausing to catch his breath in the middle of a vast desert, shaking sand out of his sneakers under a blazing red sunset. The endless sand dunes and crimson sky spark curiosity about where this grueling race is taking place, signaling the start of a new and formidable journey. With sweat and dust streaked across his face, the tagline “An expedition crew testing their limits” and the show’s title logo ‘Extreme84’ heighten the sense of tension, endurance, and survival.
As the title suggests, ‘Extreme84’ follows Kian84 as he tackles a marathon course that goes far beyond the standard 42.195 kilometers — pushing himself through unimaginable conditions to test his physical and mental limits.
Having already completed both the Cheongju Marathon and the New York Marathon, Kian84 now takes on what’s being called “a marathon beyond marathons” — an unknown course that will challenge the very boundaries of human endurance.
