Rising K-pop boy group ARrC (Andy, Choi Han, Doha, Hyunmin, Jibin, Kkien, and Rioto) made a strong impression in their first-ever appearance on the 'MBC 2025 Chuseok Special Idol Star Athletics Championships' (ISAC), which aired on October 6.
Even during warm-ups, ARrC drew attention for their synchronized team dance to NCT 127’s "Kick It", showing off their teamwork and confidence.
Members Rioto and Choi Han represented the group in the men’s 60-meter sprint, with Choi Han gaining attention from commentators before the race for his athletic build — standing at 184 cm tall and with a foot size of 290 mm, considered an advantage in sprint events.
Choi Han lived up to the hype, winning first place in his preliminary heat with a time of 8.27 seconds and advancing to the finals. There, he secured third place overall, demonstrating explosive speed, a flawless start, and remarkable athleticism — a standout debut that left a lasting impression on viewers.
The group’s appearance on ISAC marks their growing visibility beyond music, with fans praising their natural energy and strong team chemistry.
ARrC is currently promoting their third mini album ‘HOPE’, which blends oriental musical elements with modern pop — a style they’ve dubbed “Oriental Pop.” They’ve garnered attention not only through their music but also through international showcases in Japan and Indonesia, variety show appearances, and collaborations with global brands. Now, with their ISAC debut, ARrC is cementing their position as next-generation “athlete idols.”
