ZEROBASEONE have officially made their return with their first full-length album "NEVER SAY NEVER," released on September 1 at 6PM KST. The comeback comes about six months after their last mini album "BLUE PARADICE."
At their showcase, the members reflected on their journey since debut. Kim Gyu Vin said, “While preparing this first full album, I thought about the process since our debut and felt how much we’ve grown. I want to make good memories through this promotion.” Kim Ji Woong added, “We’ve matured not only in music and performance but also in teamwork, so please give us lots of support.” Han Yu Jin shared, “We want to show ZEROBASEONE as superstars,” while Zhang Hao noted, “This album feels especially meaningful since it captures our two years of growth.”

Their first studio album delivers the message of never giving up, with the title track "ICONIK" — a nu-disco pop track produced by Kenzie — representing their journey from boys to artists. Other tracks like "Lovesick Game," "Goosebumps," and "Star Eyes" show a wide range of genres, while fan song "I Know U Know" closes the album on a heartfelt note.
During the showcase, the group performed "Lovesick Game," earning attention for its dreamy stage using chair choreography. Park Gun Wook described it as “a track that compares love to a game,” while Kim Ji Woong said, “It has a completely different charm from the title track.”

With their 2.5-year project contract approaching its end, fans are eager to know the group’s future. Leader Sung Han Bin said, “We’re having many discussions and meetings, but nothing has been decided yet. For now, we’re focused on sharing more music through this album.” Han Yu Jin added, “We’re keeping possibilities open. I think we’ll make the choice that fans and the public want,” while Park Gun Wook emphasized, “All of us treasure this group. Our bond is strong.”
ZEROBASEONE’s "NEVER SAY NEVER" and its title track "ICONIK" are now available on major music platforms.
