YoonA expressed her gratitude for the love she has been receiving as an actress.
Recently, the actress held a roundtable interview at the Ambassador Pullman Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, to mark the conclusion of the tvN weekend drama ‘Bon Appétit, Your Majesty’.
Before she was known as actress Im YoonA, she was “the center of Girls’ Generation.” The group is now approaching its 20th anniversary.
“The members shared photos of themselves watching ‘Bon Appétit, Your Majesty’ in our group chat. Sooyoung unnie even said she was eating steak on the day it appeared in the drama, and Tiffany unnie told me she’s been enjoying it as well. We all cheer each other on and keep an eye on one another’s activities. Girls’ Generation hasn’t changed from then until now. To me, Girls’ Generation will always be Girls’ Generation.”
Finally, YoonA shared a heartfelt message to viewers: “I’ve always approached every project with the same love and effort, and I feel like people are recognizing that consistency. When asked what kind of actor I want to be, I’ve said that I want to be someone where, when you see the character I’m playing, you can nod along in agreement. I feel like I’m receiving that nod now, and it makes me proud. It feels like those nods are proof that I’m on the right path.”
