Five-member rookie boy group AM8IC have drawn attention with their polished performance skills even before debut.
On September 19, AM8IC unveiled a dance cover of U.S. rapper Kirko Bangz’s "Date Night (Same Time)" through their official social media, leaving a strong impression.
The choreography, created by main dancer ROUX, perfectly matched the vibe of the track, combining powerful, precise movements with groove-filled details. The performance built a captivating atmosphere through solo, pair, and group dance segments, signaling the rise of a new performance icon.
Previously, the group had pre-released a performance video for "Escher," a track from their upcoming first EP "LUKOIE," which is set to drop in November. The dynamic moves demonstrated their commanding stage presence, and the new cover video has further heightened anticipation for their official debut.
AM8IC consists of SAHO, MINGKAI, CHUNGYI, ROUX, and CHEN. The name combines the prefix ‘ambi-’ (meaning both directions) with ‘connect,’ symbolizing boys who find growth and redemption through genuine connections.
The group is now in the final stages of preparation for their debut this November.
