KickFlip spoke about member Amaru pausing activities due to health reasons.
On September 22, the group held a press showcase to mark the release of their 3rd mini album "My First Flip."
Amaru had announced a temporary hiatus just five days before the comeback. Regarding this, Dong Hyun said, “It’s very unfortunate that he can’t join us. We’re waiting for Amaru to recover his health,” adding, “The six of us will do our best to fill the empty space.”

Despite the setback, the new album delivers KickFlip’s playful take on first love. The title track "My First Love Song" is an uptempo dance track built on pop-punk, blending powerful synths and guitar riffs. It portrays the moment of confessing with a pounding heart, channeling the group’s youthful energy.

KickFlip’s 3rd mini album "My First Flip" drops today (September 22) at 6 p.m. KST. The group will hold an Mnet M2 comeback show at 7 p.m. followed by a showcase at 8 p.m.
