
The representatives of 8 countries will compete for the title of the "fittest in Asia" on Netflix's upcoming reality show, 'Physical: Asia'.
In this regional rendition of the popular physical ability competition series, 48 contestants, representing 8 different Asian countries, will face off in impossible challenges designed to test physical strength, endurance, and also teamwork.
The following contestants will represent Team South Korea: former MMA fighter Kim Dong Hyun will lead the team, joined by former South Korean national representative in men's skeleton, Yoon Sung Bin; Korean wrestling (ssireum) champion Kim Min Jae; winner of 'Physical: 100 season 2' Amotti, former South Korean national representative in women's wrestling, Jang Eun Sil; and a former winner of 'CrossFit Asia', Choi Seung Yeon.
An impressive lineup of Asia's toughest superhumans make up members of the other teams as well, including former MMA fighter Okami Yushin, taking on the role of leader for Team Japan; former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker leading Team Australia; and Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao heading Team Philippines. Additionally, Team Thailand will be led by Muay Thai world champion Superbon Singha Mawynn; Team Mongolia will be led by Mongolian wrestling champion Orkhonbayar Bayarsaikhan; Team Türkiye will be led by oil wrestling champion Recep Kara; and Team Indonesia will be led by monster body builder Igedz Executioner.
Viewers can look forward to not only the massive sets and competition arenas that characterize the 'Physical' series, but also representatives from diverse physical sports ranging from martial arts to ball games to traditional folk sports showcasing their expertise, making for a grand-scale celebration of Asian cultural exchange.
