The number of contestants remaining has now dwindled down to the final 16 on the rigorous Mnet survival program, 'Boys II Planet'.
On the program's September 18 broadcast, the surviving 24 contestants awaited their fate during the show's third ranking announcement, hosted by planet master Baekho.

The first contestant to move onto the final round on this day was Jeon Yi Jeong of WHIB, clenching the highly coveted 15th spot. Next, Park Dong Gyu, who was the lowest ranked surviving contestant during the last rankings at #24, jumped up a whopping 10 spots to 14th place this time around, causing shock.
13th place went to Kim Jun Min, 12th place went to Chen Kai Wen, 11th place went to Yoo Kang Min, 10th place went to Chuei Li Yu, and 9th place went to Yumeki. The very last seat of #16 went to Kang Woo Jin.
The top 8 also witnessed significant fluctuations, as a powerful new contender for the final debut lineup joined the fierce struggle - Jang Jia Hao, who impressed viewers with his enticing presence on stage during "Chains" last week, also leapt 9 spots to claim 5th place this week.
As for the rest of the top 8, Jung Sang Hyun safely secured his top 8 spot for this week at #8, Kim Jun Seo stepped down 2 spots to rank #7, He Xin Long likewise came down two ranks at #6, while Kim Geon Woo climbed up three steps to #4.
The top 3 remained the same as the last ranking announcement, with Lee Leo in 3rd place, Zhou An Xin in 2nd place, and Lee Sang Won in 1st place.
Next week, the remaining 16 contestants will step onto the stage for their final 'Boys II Planet' performance during the program's live finale. The winning 8 will be determined by combining the results of the preliminary votes, currently under way until September 25 at 10 AM KST, and live voting during the finale.
