Galaxy Corporation has once again recorded remarkable growth in profitability thanks to its super IP artist, G-Dragon.
The AI-based entertainment and technology company has recorded a total sales of 126 billion KRW (~ $90 million USD), an operating profit of 12 billion KRW (~ $8.6 million USD), and a net profit of 13 billion KRW (~ $9.3 million USD) for the first half of 2025.
This performance far surpasses the company's growth seen in 2024, which had posted a 207% year-over-year sales increase. Now, in just six months, Galaxy Corporation has generated more than three times its annual revenue from 2024, which was approximately 40 billion KRW.
In the media sector, Galaxy Corporation demonstrated its entertainment production capabilities through shows like '1 Night, 2 Days', 'Let's Kick Together', 'Mr. Trot 3', and 'Physical 100 Season 2'. The company's biggest source of revenue, however, was G-Dragon, releasing his 3rd full album 'Übermensch' in February of this year then embarking on his massively successful Asia tour.
G-Dragon's collaboration alcoholic beverage, the 'PEACEMINUSONE Highball', also sold over 10 million cans in 2025, once again demonstrating the artist's unrivaled IP power.
Meanwhile, Galaxy Corporation most recently recruited two new super IP artists, actor Song Kang Ho and singer Kim Jong Kook.
