MUSZA, the winning team of the HYBE Latin America audition program, has announced the start of their full-scale activities.

HYBE Latin America recently hosted the band audition program, 'Pase a la Fama.' The band MUSZA took the final victory in the audition.

The members shared their thoughts on winning. Gerardo Rodríguez said, "I still can’t quite believe it. It feels like a dream has turned into reality, but at the same time, I feel a huge sense of responsibility."

Rodolfo Blackmore
also stated, "It's a great honor. However, winning 'Pase a la Fama' is not just a simple award for me. It is a responsibility to continue creating authentically."

'Pase a la Fama' was the first band audition program in the North and South American region. Fifty-five talented musicians competed. MUSZA initially faced difficulties with the unfamiliar and novel competition format.

The members shared, "It was intense, and our emotions were volatile. It pushed us beyond our limits," but added, "The moment we performed in front of an audience for the first time, the energy of the venue instilled confidence in us."

The group promised a charm composed of six distinct colors. "Each member has their own unique color. We harmoniously encompass everything from traditional Mexican music to pop, R&B, rock, and urban style music," they said confidently.

They hinted, "We are exploring global music. We want to create music that is fresh yet connected to our roots," and "We plan to present stories about life and community."

They also expressed excitement about connecting with fans worldwide. "We want to cross barriers with music. We want to give the younger generation hope that their culture and identity can shine on the world stage," they hoped.

MUSZA is a six-member band launched by HYBE Latin America. It consists of Gerardo Rodríguez, Rodolfo Blackmore, Cynthia Ochoa, Ramiro Zuñiga, Jordi Blanco, and Oscar Campos.

Q&A with MUSZA on Their Win

Q. Congratulations on winning 'Pase a la Fama' and fulfilling your debut dream with a contract with HYBE Latin America. How do you feel?

Gerardo Rodríguez (Vocal): I still can't fully believe it. Winning 'Pase a la Fama' makes me feel like a dream has become a reality, but it’s also a huge responsibility. All the members entered this competition with different hardships and stories, and the fact that we became the winning team proves that something powerful happens when we are all together.

Rodolfo Blackmore (Bass): It's a great honor. I've been making music since I was very young, but I've learned that it's even more powerful when I share it as a member of MUSZA. Winning 'Pase a la Fama' is not just a simple award for me. It is the responsibility to continue creating authentically.

Cynthia Ochoa (Drums): I'm so proud. My parents sacrificed so much for me to chase this dream. I'm happy that our team's win at 'Pase a la Fama' shows proof that women in a band can shine brightly on stage.

Ramiro Zuñiga (Bajo Quinto/Sub-Vocal): I grew up surrounded by 'Norteño music' (traditional music from Northern Mexico). So, this win means moving my roots onto a new stage. I'm very excited to show that tradition can evolve into something modern and global.

Jordi Blanco (Saxophone): I am grateful to my family and everyone around me who constantly supported me so that I never stopped. 'Pase a la Fama' allowed us to stand in front of countless audiences, and the win showed that the music we create reached people's hearts.

Oscar Campos (Accordion): It feels like destiny. Music has always been my sanctuary, and I am so grateful for MUSZA and the experience at 'Pase a la Fama'. Now, I can share everything I've experienced and felt with the world.

Q. 'Pase a la Fama' was the first band audition program in the North and South American region. It must have been very inspiring, but also an unfamiliar and new format. What is the most memorable moment?

MUSZA: 'Pase a la Fama' was completely different from anything we had experienced before. It was intense, our emotions were volatile, and it pushed us beyond our limits. The moment we first performed as a team in front of so many people, the energy of the venue instilled confidence in us. Although it was a competition, the friendships we built with the other contestants were always a strong source of strength for us.

Q. All six members come from different regions. What kind of music does MUSZA want to present in the future?

MUSZA: Each member has their own unique color. We harmoniously encompass everything from traditional Mexican music to pop, R&B, rock, or urban-style music. We want to create music that is fresh yet connected to our roots. We plan to present music that contains the real stories of our lives and community. At the same time, we are also exploring global music. We hope that when fans listen to our music, they feel it represents them while also embracing it as something new.

Q. As you are with HYBE Latin America, global expansion is also anticipated. What are your future goals?

MUSZA: We dream of reaching fans all over the world with music that strongly resonates with Latin America, our roots. In that respect, the contract with HYBE Latin America is a tremendous opportunity and the start of a journey to create music that crosses barriers. We hope to stand on global stages, collaborate with artists of various genres, and become a beacon of hope for other young generations that their culture and identity can shine on the world stage.

The band MUSZA is set to make their mark globally, blending their diverse Latin American roots with contemporary sounds under the HYBE Latin America.
