HYBE’s global girl group KATSEYE has taken home a trophy at the MTV Video Music Awards with their song “Touch.”
On the morning of September 8 (KST), the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards were held at UBS Arena in New York.
KATSEYE won the award for “Push Performance of the Year” with “Touch,” released in July last year. Before the main ceremony, they also appeared on the Pre-Show stage and performed “Gnarly” and “Gabriela.”
In their acceptance speech, the members said: “First, we are so grateful to our fans. It feels like we’ve gained the whole world.”
KATSEYE is a joint girl group project by HYBE and Geffen Records, formed through the global audition program “The Debut: Dream Academy.”
Recently, their second EP “Beautiful Chaos” ranked 4th on the Billboard 200 (July 12 chart), while the tracks “Gabriela” and “Gnarly” both entered the Billboard Hot 100, further proving their rising global popularity.
