Jennie of BLACKPINK is making a bold move—both literally and professionally.
In early November, Jennie’s personal label ODD ATELIER will relocate its headquarters to a newly constructed boutique building in Hannam-dong, a high-end neighborhood in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
The new building spans 927㎡ (approx. 280 pyeong) across five floors, including one basement level and four floors above ground. The structure was designed by Hong Tae-seon, the only American-licensed architect working in Korea who was named an Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in 2024. The property had previously been listed for lease with a deposit of 1.5 to 2.5 billion KRW and monthly rent ranging from 60 to 80 million KRW, and is estimated to be worth around 45 billion KRW (approx. 33 million USD).
Jennie’s decision comes as the lease for her current office—a repurposed residential property in Itaewon-dong—is set to expire in October. That location has faced controversy due to unauthorized usage changes from gallery to office space, which has led to a building code violation notice from the Yongsan District Office.
Meanwhile, Jennie is actively touring as part of BLACKPINK’s latest world tour ‘DEADLINE’, their first as a full group in nearly two years following the record-breaking ‘BORN PINK’ tour, which drew 1.8 million attendees, the largest-ever audience for a K-pop girl group.
The DEADLINE tour includes stops in Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, and made history as BLACKPINK became the first K-pop girl group to headline Wembley Stadium in London. The group is also set to make a highly anticipated comeback with a new album in November.
