ITZY has officially renewed their contract with JYP Entertainment, confirming the group’s continued journey with the company.
On the afternoon of September 20th, JYP Entertainment announced, "Ahead of the expiration of their exclusive contracts early next year, all ITZY members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna have signed renewed contracts with JYP. ITZY, an artist recognized for their unmatched performance skills and ongoing global activities, and JYP have completed the renewal early based on mutual trust."
Through this renewal, ITZY and JYP have once again reaffirmed their strong bond. JYP further stated its plans to provide full support for ITZY to continue their activities as a top global girl group, while also creating opportunities for each member's individual talents to shine.
The company also released an official statement to fans, saying:

We are delighted to announce that all members of ITZY(Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yuna) have renewed their contracts with JYP ahead of their scheduled expiration early next year.
This meaningful step was made possible by the unwavering commitment of all five members, who have consistently dedicated themselves to sharing their growth with fans every step of the way.
Moving forward, JYP will continue to provide full support for ITZY, helping them thrive as a leading K-POP girl group loved by fans around the world. At the same time, JYP will encourage each member to explore new opportunities and challenges, as a way of giving back the love and support they have received.

Since their official debut in February 2019, ITZY has earned multiple rookie awards and cemented their status as the "performance queens of K-pop" by showcasing stronger skills with every comeback. With their mini album 'Guess Who,' the group entered the Billboard 200, and with Checkmate, they climbed as high as No. 8 on the chart.
Most recently, in 2024, ITZY launched their second world tour, 'ITZY 2ND WORLD TOUR,' performing 32 shows across 28 regions worldwide and further solidifying their influence as a leading K-pop act.
