She soon clarified her destination, uploading two nighttime shots from downtown Toronto along with an airport update that read, “You guys are good!”—indicating she had flown to Canada, her home country. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, G.NA debuted in 2010 and rose to popularity with 'I Will Get Lost, You Go Your Way' and 'Black & White'.
In recent posts, G.NA reflected on her hiatus and intent to move forward: “I carried this story quietly for years. While I was active in the Korean entertainment industry, I went through an experience that changed me deeply. I no longer define myself by the past; I’m choosing to define myself by what I do now. I’m healing, growing, and reclaiming my voice—not to relive old wounds, but to move ahead with truth and love.” She added, “Thank you to the fans who believed in me until the end.
