G-DRAGON has made a powerful return to the North American stage, reaffirming his status as a world-class artist with the 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR ‘Übermensch’', his first solo tour in eight years.

Following sold-out shows across Asia and Australia, G-DRAGON’s North American leg began with two back-to-back concerts on August 22nd and 23rd at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, where thousands of fans welcomed his comeback with thunderous cheers. He went on to perform at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 31st, and delivered two sold-out shows at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on September 5th and 6th. In total, over 63,000 fans attended his North American performances, proving his unmatched ticket power.

This tour marks G-DRAGON’s first solo tour since 2017’s ‘Act III: M.O.T.T.E’, which included stops in eight North American cities. The long-anticipated return featured a setlist spanning over two hours, with a mix of his latest tracks like “POWER”, “HOME SWEET HOME”, and “TOO BAD”, as well as past hits that reaffirmed his global appeal.

At his Las Vegas and Los Angeles shows, G-DRAGON also performed a special cover of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love”, delivering a heartfelt message of gratitude to his international fans who had waited nearly a decade.

The concerts blended innovative stage design, genre-defying musicality, and cutting-edge fashion—all signature elements of G-DRAGON’s artistry—which left a strong impression on both fans and critics alike.

Local media outlets echoed the enthusiasm. Forbes described him as “the king of K-pop returning after eight years” in an article titled “8 Things to Expect from G-DRAGON’s North America Tour”, while People highlighted his dominance in the market, writing, “An Asian artist is once again taking center stage in North America’s mainstream music scene.”

G-DRAGON’s presence extended far beyond the stage. His face and tour logo adorned digital billboards surrounding the Prudential Center, T-Mobile Arena, and across Los Angeles, turning entire cityscapes into tributes to his comeback. Merchandise booths also drew massive lines at every venue, highlighting the explosive fan demand.

The Übermensch tour began in Goyang, South Korea, and has since sold out major venues including Tokyo Dome, Kyocera Dome, Philippine Arena, and arenas in Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Sydney, and Melbourne. After wrapping up North America, G-DRAGON is set to perform in Paris on September 20th, kicking off the European leg of the tour.

Living up to his title as the “Emperor of K-pop”, G-DRAGON has once again proven his unrivaled creativity and stage command. One industry insider remarked, “Even after an eight-year absence, G-DRAGON’s ability to instantly captivate fans remains intact. With BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary approaching next year, this tour could mark more than a solo comeback—it may also signal a pivotal moment for the group’s future.”
