Davichi—the beloved vocal duo consisting of Lee Hae Ri and Kang Min Kyung—is set to perform the congratulatory song at the wedding of popular YouTuber and broadcaster KwakTube (real name Kwak Jun Bin).
According to reports on September 10th KST, Davichi will sing at the ceremony, which will take place on October 11th at a hotel in Yeouido, Seoul.
Davichi and KwakTube are known to share a close friendship in the entertainment world. In March 2023, KwakTube uploaded a vlog of his trip to Hong Kong with Davichi on his YouTube channel. In the video, he recalled how a comment left by Kang Min Kyung during his trip to Russia gave him emotional support during a difficult time. “It was 3 a.m. when I saw the comment Kang Min Kyung noona left three years ago. It really moved me,” he said. Since then, they’ve maintained a meaningful connection.
KwakTube, who boasts over 2.13 million subscribers, reportedly asked Davichi to sing at his wedding—and they gladly agreed.
The wedding will be hosted by popular broadcaster Jun Hyun Moo, who has built a close bond with KwakTube through the MBN reality series ‘Moo No Plan’, where KwakTube has been a regular cast member since February 2023. Both are also signed under the agency SM C&C.
KwakTube first confirmed his relationship in a video uploaded on August 13th, titled “A Strange 3 Nights 4 Days Thai Food Tour Where the Guide Eats More.” In the clip, he responded to a viewer’s question during his Thailand trip: “Yes, I have a girlfriend. She’s not a celebrity—we met through an introduction. I’m thinking about marriage.” He also shared, “We usually stay in and enjoy good food together.”
His fiancée is five years younger and works as a public servant in a regional city. Despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship, the couple has maintained a strong and affectionate bond.
On September 8th, KwakTube announced both his marriage and impending fatherhood through his channel. “I’m finally getting married. We originally planned for a wedding in May next year, but while preparing, we received an even greater blessing—I’m going to be a dad. Now there are three of us,” he said with joy.
