Viewers of Mnet's 'Boys II Planet' are organizing for the creation of a 'runner-up' group, comprised of eliminated fan favorites.
Just a day after the finale of 'Boys II Planet', which witnessed the creation of the 8-member winning group ALPHA DRIVE ONE, fans began raising their voices for the creation of the 'runner-up' project group, F1ARE.
Fans want to see 11 eliminated contestants in F1ARE, including Jang Han Eum, Chuei Li Yu, Kang Woo Jin, Chen Kai Wen, Yoo Kang Min, Kim In Hu, Kim Jun Min, Masato, Sen, Park Dong Gyu, and Jeon Yi Jeong.
In fact, as one of the first decisive steps in making the new project group happen, fans banded together to create a 'Namu Wiki' page for F1ARE, garnering interest among K-Pop fans.
('Namu Wiki' is a Korean open-to-edit online encyclopedia. However, any unverified or unreliable information is edited out upon discovery.)
Based on F1ARE's 'Namu Wiki' page created by fans, the project group is projected to officially form on December 17, 2025, and debut on January 19, 2026. The group's leader is Jayder (Kim Jun Min, who promotes as Jayder in the group WHIB), and its fan club is called 'Flame'.

Meanwhile, there has been a history of 'runner-up' project groups from Mnet survival programs, including I.B.I from 'Produce 101' and JBJ from 'Produce 101 season 2'.
However, whether or not the fans' wishes will come true is still up in the air. Some proposed members of F1ARE, including Yoo Kang Min of VERIVERY and Kim Jun Min and Jeon Yi Jeong of WHIB, have hinted at their return to group activities.
