Rising K-pop group AHOF has officially unveiled the name of their fan club—FOHA.
The announcement was made during a live broadcast on the global fan community platform Weverse on September 9th KST. The moment was made even more meaningful as global fans directly contributed to the naming process. From August 20th to 25th, AHOF held a fan club naming contest, receiving enthusiastic submissions from around the world.
The final name, FOHA, is a creative reverse of the group’s name AHOF, and also carries the connotation of “FOR”—symbolizing a mutual bond between AHOF and their fans, each existing for the other.
During the live broadcast, the members expressed their excitement: “We’ve always called you ‘everyone,’ but now we finally have a name to call you by. We’re so happy,” they said, enthusiastically shouting “FOHA!” together. They also explained the fan club name’s meaning in multiple languages—including Chinese, Tagalog, English, and Japanese—further deepening their connection with their international fans.
Living up to the ambition embedded in their name—AHOF, short for “A Hall of Fame”—the group made a powerful debut. Their first mini-album ‘WHO WE ARE’ ranked fifth in first-week sales among all debut boy groups in history, and their title track ‘Rendezvous (그곳에서 다시 만나기로 해)’ swept three music show wins, quickly earning them the title of “monster rookies.”
The group has also been actively expanding their global presence. They recently held release events in Osaka and Tokyo, charming local fans, and drew a crowd of approximately 10,000 at their first fan concert in the Philippines, proving their rookie status doesn’t limit their global impact.
With more performances and promotions on the horizon, AHOF is set to continue building meaningful connections with music fans worldwide.
