Actor Rowoon will begin his mandatory military service as an active-duty soldier on October 27, following a reexamination.
On August 26, FNC Entertainment announced, “Rowoon underwent a reexamination and was deemed fit for active duty. He will enlist on October 27.”
Rowoon had initially been scheduled to enlist on July 21 but received a Level 7 classification during his first physical examination. After filing an appeal, he underwent a reexamination earlier this month and was reassessed as fit for active duty.
The Military Manpower Administration confirmed that the previously raised concerns were no longer an issue, finalizing his active-duty enlistment. No official event will be held on the day of his enlistment.
FNC Entertainment emphasized, “As the enlistment site is a private setting with many other recruits, the event will not be open to the public. We kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting.” The agency added, “We ask for your continued support until the day Rowoon safely completes his service and returns in good health.”
Meanwhile, Rowoon will greet viewers ahead of his enlistment through the upcoming Disney+ series 'The Murky Stream,' set to premiere on September 26.
