On the August 28 broadcast of Mnet's 'Boys II Planet', contestant Kim Jun Seo demonstrated what many viewers deemed to be "poor leadership" throughout the preparations for his team's stage.

Having chosen the dance position, Kim Jun Seo and his fellow teammates, Park Dong Gyu and Masato, began practicing in earnest for their performance to "Bad" by Christopher.
However, during a progress assessment with the program's masters, Kim Jun Seo received the feedback that his 'killing part' performance did not meet expectations.
In order to address the feedback, teammate Park Dong Gyu offered to lessen the burden on Kim Jun Seo by volunteering to create the choreography for the second verse. Kim Jun Seo, on the other hand, suggested that Park Dong Gyu recreate the entire choreography.
Park Dong Gyu, who could not say no to Kim Jun Seo's suggestion, ended up choreographing the team's entire performance in very little time.
Later, when Park Dong Gyu finished the choreography, Kim Jun Seo claimed that he was having difficulty with a dance move in the chorus, asking Park Dong Gyu to change it once again.
Furthermore, Kim Jun Seo was also seen taking his frustration out on another teammate, Masato, triggering many heartbroken and angry reactions from viewers by saying, "Right now, it's looking like you'll be the one to go down from ALL-STARS."
While Kim Jun Seo claimed in his interview later that he "told Masato off" in the hopes of heightening his focus and energy, some other K-netizens reacted,
"He's one of those types who are everywhere in this society. They refuse to negotiate with or get along with anyone."
"Poor Dong Gyu he's being worked to death TT."
"He is so selfish and greedy. He wants to be the leader and the center but he doesn't know how to do either of those things, and he thinks he can just shove the work on somebody else."

"I can't believe how high he is on the rankings."
