On August 30 KST, G-DRAGON shared photos and videos of himself in uniform via his private Instagram account, captioned “Hannam-dong Protector.”
The K-pop icon effortlessly turned the standard-issue military uniform into a fashion statement—rolling up the sleeves to suit his signature style and wearing a perfectly adjusted beret, once again proving why he remains a global fashion trailblazer.
The post also highlighted that G-Dragon is now in his 6th year as a military reservist following his active duty service in the South Korean Army from February 27, 2018, to October 26, 2019, at the Baekgol (White Skull) Division in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province.
After his discharge, he has continued to reflect on his service by posting phrases like “Republic of Korea Army” and “Minus One for Peace”, as well as sharing the emblem of his former unit.
Currently, G-Dragon is connecting with fans around the world through his 'Übermensch' world tour, which kicked off in Korea this past March.
