The experimental new Apple TV+ original series, 'K-POPPED', has premiered worldwide on August 29.
Hosted by Psy and Megan Thee Stallion, 'K-POPPED' invites some of pop's most legendary stars to perform on stage together with K-Pop idols, putting on reinterpreted stages of pop hits from across generations.
The 8-episode series proceeds in a competition format, as the members of a K-Pop group divide into two teams to compete against each other, each team performing a hit song by their assigned legendary musician. The episodes and their featuring artists are as follows:
Episode 1: Billlie with Megan Thee Stallion and Patti LaBelle
Episode 2: ITZY with Spice Girls
Episode 3: Kep1er with Vanilla Ice and Taylor Dayne
Episode 4: JO1 with Eve and Kesha
Episode 5: ATEEZ with Kylie Minogue and J Balvin
Episode 6: STAYC with Boy George and TLC
Episode 7: KISS OF LIFE with Ava Max and Jess Glynne
Episode 8: BLACKSWAN with Boyz II Men
In addition to the main competition performances, 'K-POPPED' also features performances by each K-Pop group, a tour of Korea with the pop stars, practice and preparation for the stage, and more.
