YG Entertainment has issued an apology over the controversy surrounding the “zero visibility” N3 section at BLACKPINK’s recent concert.

On the afternoon of July 7, YG stated, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to audience members in the N3 section during BLACKPINK’s concert last weekend, where the view of the stage was significantly obstructed.”

The company continued, “Although we installed extended LED screens to improve the viewing experience due to the console setup in front of the N3 area, it regrettably did not resolve the issue as intended. We are currently preparing follow-up measures for those who reported discomfort with the seating. Further details will be provided through the ticketing platform.”

BLACKPINK held their BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR IN GOYANG at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on July 5 and 6.

The controversy arose when some seats—specifically those in the N3 section—were completely blocked by large screens placed in front of them. Although the section faces the stage directly, the setup made it impossible for attendees to see the members throughout the roughly two-hour show.

While a vague warning during ticketing mentioned possible “view obstruction due to equipment,” no specific notice was given that these would be zero-visibility seats. Tickets for the N3 section were priced at around 130,000 KRW (approx. $95 USD), prompting many fans to demand refunds.
