TXT's Soobin says he practiced the "eating watermelon in 3 seconds challenge" for two days

TXT's Soobin appeared on MBC’s 'Radio Star' and took on the challenge of eating a watermelon in three seconds.

In the latest episode of the variety talk show that aired on July 16, Soobin appeared as a special guest alongside Jang Keun Suk, Lee Hong Ki, and Kim Shin Young. Through Radio Star, Soobin showcased a new side of TXT and revealed his personal charm as a variety show guest.

He began by explaining that this was his first time on a terrestrial talk show appearance and showed his resolution to make viewers laugh. He succeeded by candidly confessing that TXT members aren't too funny, and explained, "Our team isn’t strong in variety shows."

He also attempted a comedic personal talent: eating watermelon quickly, as he launched his variety appeal. Soobin shared, “I practiced by eating a whole watermelon over two days,” and tried to complete the “3-second watermelon eating” challenge. He sincerely confessed, “I’m not good at impressions, so I thought I might as well do something ridiculous.”
