SHINee's Key officially announces return with sci-fi inspired 3rd full album 'HUNTER'

SHINee's Key has announced his return with a 3rd full album.

According to the announcement, Key's 3rd solo album is titled 'HUNTER,' featuring a dynamic and dark concept. The teaser video shows a moving image of an eye or a surveillance camera watching the viewer from beneath the word 'hunter.'

The video teaser is accompanied by a series of photo teasers resembling public information notices, marked with the phrase: "We are providing integrated guidance for densely populated areas within the city."

These notices contain vague but unsettling instructions—lists of do's and don'ts, warnings that all areas are under constant CCTV surveillance, and references to "complaints recently about people whispering in the dark lately," with the added note that such behavior cannot be regulated if it is related to prayer. Another notice states that trading of both biological and nonbiological goods is strictly prohibited.

These cryptic and eerie messages suggest a sci-fi concept for Key’s comeback. The album is set for release on August 11 KST.
