SEVENTEEN member Hoshi recently experienced a heartwarming, movie-like encounter with a fan.
On July 21 KST, Hoshi posted a photo on his personal social media account. The image showed a handwritten message on the sand reading “Seventeen Forever” along with Hoshi’s hand forming a heart above it.
The message had been written by a fan who had visited the beach earlier, and Hoshi, touched by the display of love, shared the photo on his own account as a gesture of appreciation.
But he didn’t stop there—Hoshi also changed his fan communication platform profile picture to that very image, further showing his gratitude for the fan’s message.
The international fan who had written the message was overwhelmed with emotion upon discovering that Hoshi had seen and shared it. She uploaded the original photo, taken during the daytime, on her personal account with a caption in Korean: “You are my last and greatest idol. Thank you so much for noticing.”
To her amazement, Hoshi even left a comment on her post in her native language, simply saying “thank you.”
Fans responded with emotional reactions, saying,
“This is so romantic,”
“It’s touching how the message, left like a letter without an address, stayed long enough to be seen.”
SEVENTEEN debuted in 2015 and is celebrating their 10th anniversary this year. Known for hit songs like “Adore U,” “Don’t Wanna Cry,” and “Super,” the 13-member group continues to showcase their deep connection with fans. Hoshi, the group’s main dancer, is especially noted for his sincere fan engagement.
