TWICE has unveiled a cinematic trailer for their upcoming Japanese studio album, offering fans a glimpse into a story that feels like a full-length film.

The group is set to release their sixth full-length Japanese album titled 'ENEMY' on August 27. Ahead of the album’s release, TWICE dropped a dramatic and introspective trailer video via their official Japanese social media channels at midnight on July 22 KST, heightening anticipation for their return.

The trailer opens with a contrast: while the audio praises TWICE as a “top global girl group,” the visuals show a still, quiet setting. The nine members’ everyday lives are portrayed not with glamor but with silence, as they confront confusion and pain. The narrative explores a life striving for perfection, where tension builds, pain seeps through, and there’s a sense of loss—all delivered through reflective voiceovers. It’s one of the most honest glimpses into the group’s inner world.

As the subdued monologues continue, viewers see each member in solitude. Then, a shift: Jihyo, wearing a faint smile, suddenly dashes off. Her footsteps echo through the quiet space, catching the attention of the other members, who turn toward the sound. Finally, Nayeon makes direct eye contact with the viewer, and the video closes with her whispering, “I am…” leaving the sentence—and meaning—hanging. The trailer’s film-like quality and subtle emotional resonance have left fans eager to uncover what story 'ENEMY' will tell.

'ENEMY' marks TWICE’s first Japanese full-length album in about a year since 'DIVE' in July 2024. The group also recently released their Korean full-length album 'THIS IS FOR' on July 11, continuing to expand their global reach. With 'ENEMY,' TWICE is set to extend their popularity even further in Japan.

The group is also connecting with fans worldwide through their new world tour. Kicking off with two sold-out concerts at Inspire Arena in Incheon on July 19–20, TWICE will begin their overseas tour with back-to-back shows in Osaka on July 26–27, followed by performances in Aichi (Aug 23–24), Fukuoka (Aug 30–31), Tokyo (Sep 16–17), Macau (Sep 27–28), Bulacan (Oct 4), Singapore (Oct 11–12), Sydney (Nov 1–2), Melbourne (Nov 8–9), Kaohsiung (Nov 22), Hong Kong (Dec 6), and Bangkok (Dec 13–14). All venues will feature 360-degree stage setups, showcasing the group’s innovative performance style and deepening the immersive fan experience.
