Comedian and TV personality Park Narae was noticeably absent from the wedding of her close friends and fellow comedians Kim Jimin and Kim Junho, which was held on July 13 at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas.
Despite being one of Kim Jimin’s closest friends and a fellow KBS comedian recruit, Park Narae was unable to attend the ceremony due to personal reasons, according to her agency. Although she did not attend in person, it was reported that Park sent a generous monetary gift to the newlyweds.
Park had been considered a likely candidate to receive the bridal bouquet, given her strong friendship with the bride. However, in her absence, the bouquet was handed to comedian Han Yoon Seo. Kim Jimin had previously mentioned Park as a possible bouquet recipient but added, “If she had a boyfriend, I would have given it to her, but she’s just so busy right now.”
Park Narae had also missed the couple’s wedding photo shoot, which she was originally scheduled to attend, due to an unfortunate break-in incident at her home that occurred on the same day.
Kim Jimin and Kim Junho tied the knot after dating for about three years. Their wedding attracted attention not only for their long-standing romance but also for the impressive number of guests — reportedly over 1,200 — showcasing the couple’s wide social circles.
