Jin of BTS set another milestone with his first solo dome concert in Japan, captivating fans at Osaka’s Kyocera Dome with a breathtaking live performance, overflowing visuals, and unparalleled fan engagement.

Held on July 12 as part of his solo world tour ‘RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR’, the concert saw the entire venue filled to capacity—including even the restricted view sections in the uppermost tiers. The overwhelming ticket demand led organizers to open all available seats, demonstrating Jin’s unmatched draw as a solo artist.

Japanese media took notice as well. On the day of the show and the following day, top newspapers such as Sports Nippon, Daily Sports, Nikkan Sports, Sports Hochi, and Sankei Sports all featured Jin on their front pages, underscoring his widespread impact in Japan. Crowds lined up early not only for limited-edition merchandise and newspapers but also for items he endorses. Products like Jin Ramen and Eye Gene, for which Jin serves as a global model, completely sold out in major Osaka shopping malls.

Fans around the world joined the celebration. Terms like KIM SEOKJIN and #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR dominated X (formerly Twitter)'s global real-time trends. Fanbases such as RUN WITH SEOKJIN (@RUNWITH_SEOKJIN) sent LED trucks displaying Jin’s videos around Osaka, while JINJAPAN FANBASE (@JP_Jinfanbase) sponsored an ad cruise boat on the city’s waters during both concert days.

Jin's stage presence lived up to expectations. With his hair swept back to reveal his forehead, the “god of beauty” delivered crystal-clear live vocals that seamlessly transitioned between powerful high notes and deep low tones. His graceful performance and confident energy triggered thunderous cheers across the dome. A self-proclaimed “live king” and known for his deep fan love, Jin also charmed the audience with heartfelt gestures throughout the show.

After the concert, Jin surprised fans by going live on Weverse to chat with them in real time—further proving his devotion to ARMY. In fact, fans have coined the phrase “Japan is JINLAND” in recognition of his immense popularity in the country.

The July 12 concert, titled ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in JAPAN’, was also broadcast via Live Viewing, allowing fans to experience the event in 43 CGV theaters across South Korea and in cinemas across 10 other countries and regions. The July 13 concert is set to be livestreamed globally via Weverse.

‘RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR’, which began in Korea on June 28, marks Jin’s first solo world tour. He has completed two concerts in Chiba and now heads into the second night in Osaka. The tour continues with stops in nine more cities, including Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London, and Amsterdam, totaling 18 shows. Notably, Jin will become the first K-pop soloist to headline a concert at London’s O2 Arena—a historic achievement in K-pop history.
