Shinji (43, Lee Ji Seon) of the group Koyote fondly recalled her first encounter with her fiancé Moon Won (36, Park Sang Moon) during the July 8 episode of SBS TV’s 'Dolsing Fourmen.'
When asked how she met the handsome man seven years her junior, Shinji revealed, “Moon Won contacted me first via DM because of work.” She added, “He asked, ‘Senior, can I cover this song?’ and I said, ‘Of course, I’d be happy.’”
Former Roo’ra member Lee Sang Min expressed curiosity, saying, “Your fiancé is in his 30s? That’s impressive.” Shinji proudly responded, “He’s full of energy, hardworking, loves exercise, and does everything I want without me lifting a finger.”
Veteran actress Jeon Won Joo asked, “Do young women these days really like younger men that much?” Lee Sang Min joked, “You once said you still get butterflies when you see a handsome younger man,” referencing comedian Tak Jae Hoon. Tak teased, “Can I spend all the money I’ve saved?” to which Jeon replied, “You could even buy a house for him.”
Shinji and Moon Won plan to marry in the first half of next year. The couple met through MBC Standard FM’s 'Lee Yoon Seok and Shinji’s Singlbungl Show' (2021–2024), where their relationship blossomed. They recently released a duet single titled “Shalakadulla” on June 26. On July 2, Shinji shared a YouTube video of their family meeting with Koyote members. Moon Won opened up, saying, “I’ve been married before and have a lovely daughter.”
Following this, rumors surfaced about Moon Won’s divorce, allegations of cheating, bullying during his school and military days, and real estate sales suspicions. Negative comments discouraging Shinji from marrying also spread online.
Both sides have denied all allegations. On July 8, Shinji’s agency JG Star released Moon Won’s amicable divorce agreement, stating, “His ex-wife also wishes the couple happiness.” On the same day, Shinji posted on Instagram, “I feel heavy-hearted that the wedding news caused fatigue. We have confirmed with the agency that the concerns and suspicions are all unfounded. Please give us time and watch over us.”
