On 'Oh Eun Young’s Stay', EXID’s Hani shared her honest feelings about her recent experiences.
On the 7th, MBN’s 'Oh Eun Young’s Stay' team announced, “Oh Eun Young, Ko So Young, Yoo Se Yoon, and the participants will have a sincere ‘Oh Talk’ session.”
As a participant, Hani confessed, “I started working as a celebrity too early, so I didn’t really know the world. I was like a frog in a well.”
She adds, “Recently, through various life events, I’ve realized that life doesn’t always go the way I want. I came to accept that ‘I can’t choose what happens to me.’ Naturally, I’ve let go of the urge to control my life,”
Hani was originally scheduled to marry psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong in September last year. However, about four months before the wedding, a death occurred at the hospital where Yang Jae Woong serves as the chief director, and the related investigation is still ongoing. As a result, their wedding has been indefinitely postponed.
During the show, Hani also faced a humorous moment of being unrecognized by other participants. Wearing hiking clothes without makeup and introduced by her real name, Ahn Hee Yeon, no one recognized her.
Hani joked about the situation, saying, “I guess I don’t have a celebrity face.”
