BLACKPINK has officially premiered their new single “JUMP” during the opening night of their highly anticipated world tour, 'DEADLINE,' held today (July 5) at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium.
This marks BLACKPINK’s first full-group comeback performance in 2 years and 8 months. The group’s latest track “JUMP” was unveiled exclusively onstage in Goyang, setting the tone for what promises to be a record-breaking tour.
The 'DEADLINE' world tour kicks off in Goyang on July 5–6 and will span 31 performances across 16 cities worldwide. Stops include major cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
This tour is BLACKPINK’s first global run since their 2023 'Born Pink' world tour, with nearly 22 months having passed since their last tour concluded. YG Entertainment noted that the Goyang concert’s scale has significantly expanded compared to the opening Seoul concert of their previous tour.
In addition to their high-energy performances, the tour also incorporates a social initiative: the Anti-Scalping Campaign with the Audience, led by the Korea Popular Music Performance Industry Association. As part of this initiative, a quiz event related to ticket scalping will be held, with winners receiving specially designed limited-edition stickers.
Ticket scalping has been a persistent issue, particularly abroad. In Taiwan, BLACKPINK tickets were resold for as much as NT$400,000 (approximately $13,400), which is 45 times the original price.
BLACKPINK continues to make global headlines, not only for their music and performances but also for championing fan-centric values in the live music industry.
