At the '4th Blue Dragon Series Awards' held on the afternoon of July 18, a broadcast mishap occurred involving actors Jun (Lee Jun Young) and Lee Jun Hyuk, sparking criticism toward MC Jun Hyun Moo.

Shortly after, Lee Jun Young addressed the incident on his social media, saying, “I couldn’t hear well on stage, which led to this ridiculous mistake. I sincerely apologize to senior Lee Jun Hyuk and his fans. Congratulations on your award.” In a gracious response, Lee Jun Hyuk commented, “It was funny thanks to this. I made the same mistake at the' AAA awards.' Let’s have a meal together next time,” helping to ease tensions.

What seemed like a simple misunderstanding soon escalated as Jun Hyun Moo faced heavy criticism from some netizens. After posting a photo with awardee Kian84 on his personal SNS following the event, Jun was met with a flood of complaints demanding an apology in English as well.

Critics accused him of being “careless,” called for an apology over his inaccurate pronunciation, and condemned him for “making someone else’s mistake a joke.” However, there were also many comments defending Jun, saying, “Why is he being blamed so harshly?” “What else could he have done in that situation?” and “I clearly heard ‘Lee Jun Hyuk.’” The debate between supporters and critics remains intense.
After realizing the confusion, Lee Jun Young promptly handed the trophy over to Lee Jun Hyuk. MC Jun Hyun Moo later tried to smooth things over, stating, “Jun Young is indeed a popular star, but this year, Lee Jun Hyuk was the top star. I should have pronounced the name more accurately.”
