Former ILLIT member Youngseo is making a highly anticipated return to the music scene, this time as part of a co-ed group produced by hitmaker Teddy under The Black Label.
Earlier this year, BELIFT LAB announced that Youngseo's exclusive contract had come to a mutual end and asked the public to refrain from speculation. Shortly after, fans spotted Youngseo filming outdoors, sparking excitement and renewed curiosity about her next steps.
There were rumors that she might debut in High Up Entertainment’s next girl group, the agency behind STAYC. However, those rumors were quickly confirmed to be false.
Youngseo is now part of The Black Label, a music agency led by renowned producer Teddy. The company is home to artists such as Taeyang of Big Bang, Rosé of BLACKPINK (for Korean promotions), Jeon So Mi, and MEOVV. Teddy, known for producing many of BLACKPINK’s hits during his time at YG Entertainment, has earned a reputation for his creative vision and success in launching new talent.
He recently led the debut of rookie girl groups izna and MEOVV, strengthening his reputation as a "Midas touch" producer in K-pop.
Fans are now turning their attention to Youngseo’s upcoming debut in the co-ed group. With Teddy’s direction and her unique talent, many are eager to see what kind of musical synergy she will bring to the group and how her career will evolve in this new chapter.
