Mnet’s World of Street Woman Fighter has supercharged the global dance phenomenon with its Mega Crew Mission. Videos of the participating crews, including AG SQUAD, BUMSUP, MOTIV, OSAKA Ojo Gang, and RHTokyo, released on June 18 via the official YouTube channel The CHOOM, have collectively surpassed 31 million views as of June 22, showcasing their explosive popularity.
Among them, the Mega Crew Mission video by Korea’s BUMSUP has been the center of attention. Titled “Dreamscape: At the Boundary of Dreams,” the performance, directed by Honey J, surpassed 13 million views by June 22, proving its syndromic level of popularity. Reaching 10 million views during the public voting period is a first in the history of Mnet’s Street Dance series, highlighting the show’s massive buzz.
Upon release, BUMSUP ranked #1 on YouTube’s trending videos, followed by OSAKA Ojo Gang at #2 and AG SQUAD at #4, filling the top spots on the trending chart. The videos also made it onto trending lists in the U.S., Japan, and Korea, proving the show’s global impact.
BUMSUP’s unexpected rise from underdog to front-runner has also gained attention. With the participation of actress Roh Yoon Seo and SWF2 champion crew member Bada, BUMSUP’s performance has been praised for its refined expression of Korean sentiment and its large-scale, ultra-synchronized choreography.
