One Hundred Label, the agency representing boy group The Boyz, has issued a firm rebuttal to Ju Hak Nyeon’s recent statement regarding his contract termination and the surrounding controversy.

On the afternoon of June 20, One Hundred Label told iMBC Entertainment, “We express deep regret over Ju Hak Nyeon’s one-sided false claims.”

Regarding the decision to remove Ju Hak Nyeon from the group and terminate his exclusive contract, the agency explained, “Recognizing that this issue could severely damage the group’s activities, we initially decided to suspend Ju Hak Nyeon’s participation. After gaining a more detailed understanding of the situation, we informed him that his actions fall under Clause 6-3 of the exclusive contract, which refers to ‘conduct that significantly damages the dignity required of a public figure to the extent it hinders entertainment activities.’ Based on this, we proceeded with the termination of his contract.”

The agency emphasized that the decision was reasonable and justified, stating, “The core of this matter lies in Ju Hak Nyeon’s evasion of responsibility and repeated distorted claims. If these assertions continue, we will take all necessary legal measures to protect our artists and the company from harm. We will also submit supporting documents and evidence to the relevant legal authorities.”

Earlier the same day, Ju Hak Nyeon posted a personal statement on social media, arguing that the prostitution allegations against him were unilaterally fabricated by the agency and media. He claimed the termination of his contract was unfair, stating, “Simply being in a private setting with a well-known individual led to my unilateral removal from the group and threats of over 2 billion KRW (roughly $1.46 million) in damages. I question whether this truly reflects how an agency should treat and protect its artist.”

In closing, One Hundred Label declared that it would not issue further comments on Ju Hak Nyeon’s claims. The agency added that all scheduled activities for The Boyz, excluding Ju Hak Nyeon, will proceed as planned and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the honor and rights of the remaining members.
